He started only armed with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan; then a CLU designation from the Institute of Chartered Life Underwriters of Canada; then a CH.F.C. designation from the American College and Canadian Institute of Chartered Financial Consultants: became a member of the Canadian Association of Financial Planners in 1986; was one of the first Registered Financial Planners (RFP) in Canada; and also one of the first Certified Financial Planners (CFP) in Canada; and is a Charter Member of the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners. Never afraid to speak his mind he has addressed many private, public and industry groups across Canada on areas of wealth management and financial services, and published numerous articles on various areas of financial, wealth and retirement planning.

He’s an advisor, an author, a dad, and has sat on many boards and advisory councils of major financial institutions. His clients are comprised of many wealthy individuals, families and corporations.
